I would actually like to see WAs win some playoff games. I was routing for them this year. Ovi deserves it and there window is narrowing fast. - coffee junkie
Agreed. If the Flyers can't make it, I'd enjoy seeing Ov make it to the Finals. |

IIRC, Gagner is pretty good on the shootouts, too - Jsaquella
I certainly hope so. Hopefully G will rebound to his career average because he was brutal last year.

I really had hopes Vinny would up and go away today.
Maybe he is waiting for the check to clear into his account.
Maybe some young pup will check him in training camp and end it for him
He is brittle as they come |

Hopefully G will have 5 goals and 5 assists in 3 on 3 overtime and the Flyers will have zero shootouts. |

I like having gagner instead. Skill level is comparable, so is the cap hit, but the shorter term helps next year when they need to re-sign everyone |

The one way to really end it, or at least get teams to compete to win in OT is to go 3-2-1 for points to the winner and 0 for the loser.
teams would be busting their ass to win in regulation |

Anything that is a team game as opposed to a slam dunk contest.
Another issue is game length and in arena union overtime for stage hands and trades, though no one talks about it. I was really happy with ties after 5 minute OT's when they introduced it. Especially when you have teams playing their 3rd game in 4 nights....

Hoping the Labarbera signing means more games for Stolarz seeing as that guy is ancient. |
