I think I smell another Leino and I hope to be proved wrong.

Every Sabres fan needs to slow the eff down and realize where this team has been the past few seasons no matter how they arrived there.

Insightful, mature comeback. You can carp on and on how the Sabres, ROR, and escrow are going to send the NHL into a lockout, but it only makes you sound like a know-it-all big-city A$$hole.. One deal by one team won't have that effect. How about Hagelin's deal? or Saad's? Both GOOD players getting way over paid.

I'm reading most, if not all, fans here as saying we are NOT a juggernaut, but vastly improved and with far more talent and potential than we had 3 months ago. I think even the most cynical of fans can agree on at least that.

The biggest jump I've seen is that we are contenders for the playoffs this year and then should be solid for years to come at making them.

If you are trying to compare the careers of Leino and ROR as being similar, leading up to the Sabres acquiring them, then you will come to delusional conclusions every day of the week (and twice on Sunday).

ROR has some of the best faceoff, possesion, turnover, and arguably leadership qualities in the entire NHL. Leino had one good year and one goal against us that made Darcy weep like a baby.

The only results I have seen thus far is last place in the league with some very one sided deals in my opinion, but it's my opinion and won't be changed until I see results.
