Still miss playoffs

Borderline, prob lose in 1st if we make it

2017-2018...
This is the year we make the leap.
Eichel starts to come into his own... Lehner (hopefully) becomes a legit #1 (if he hasn't yet)... Risto should be well on his way to top pair defenseman status, and hopefully McCabe isn't too far behind... ROR, Ennis & Kane are all entering into their prime, while Reinhart & Girgensons are blossoming into studs themselves... And then guys like Bailey & Baptiste are taking icetime away from aging Vets like Gionta & Moulson, if not their roster spots entirely.
I'd say we get to the conference finals, or lose a long tough series against a Tampa team that's still gonna be pretty great.

Hopefully by 2018-2019...
We can get past the Lightning & have a good chance at bring home Lord Stanley

this is an escrow circumventing contract. Escrow was something that small market owners held the league hostage by and forced a lockout to attain.

Congrats Buffalo, you just ensured a new lockout when the current CBA expires.
