nah they would've just resigned adam hall or some other third liner to do that. next. - JoeRussomanno
right. maybe not hall but plenty of 3rd line defensively responsible centers out there to plug in.
hell laughton is ready defensively according to some no? |

Yes.. I think outside of G and Jake he is far and away our most important forward.
Is he as offensively dominant as we hoped he would be? No... but he really isnt all that far off from where he needs to be (offensively) before people start saying he is a premier two way forward.
If his PP number were to even marginally increase.. people his numbers would look better and people would be clamoring over his two way ability.
He is far and away our best defensive forward. He plays extremely tough minutes and yet is still about as offensively productive as Brayden Schenn.. - jak521
I guess that is your opinion. not mine. |

look all im gonna say is the same people who coddle coots are the same who will tell you sanheim, ghost and morin will carry us to the cup in 3-4 years which is the same amount of time coots has had. he's not a bust but it wouldn't stop the earth from rotating if he wasn't in the lineup either. |

Thats fine.. just saying.. Ill take a big bodied forward who plays tough minutes and is around a 40 point per season player (despite getting strictly defensive responsibilities) at the age of 22 any day of the week.

The earth would still rotate, absolutely correct. But the Flyers would be a much easier team to play against. |

He is no golden child.. but its laughable how some feel Adam Hall could do the job he does. The same Adam Hall who is playing for who right now? |

they are easy to play against now. how hard does he really make it for other teams? this team would be exactly where they are today without him.

i'll say this, he's a nice player to have. very crafty with his stick and postioning, an average skater with average puckhandling. yes he can log a lot of minutes without being a liability. that's about it, and nobody is worried about playing against him. |

adam hall is playing in the swiss league so its not like he he's completely out of pro hockey either. furthermore at this stage of hall's career he put up as many goals as did couturier which is eery. |

Do you think the Flyers should trade him now, while his value is still high? |
