P.S. Barrie was awesome. It really reminded me how Ottawa targeted Tim Connelly the 05/06 year when he was playing at an absoute ELITE level. After that hit he would eventually come back and play well but we would never see that level form him again.

Really?? Damn Reinhart has to feel pretty forgotten at this point... For a guy just drafted 2nd overall a year ago it sure feels like fans and media alike have left him in the dust. Not saying people on here because we're more in touch with the team then average fans but... I skipped the game this year after the 7-1 shellacking we received in Feb 2014. Had great seats in the 100s for the carnage though. Can't wait to see them this year! 1/20/16

Aw man! yea i was in 104 got to watch the sabres shoot twice. Lindback got pulled after the first, and hackett looked like complete poop. Barrie had a sick goal off a pass from duchene. If If i remember correctly it waws 4-0 halfway through the game.
I didn't get left empty handed though Mejzaros had 2 goals and Risto banged his own rebound in.
Multiple sabres fans in attendance though. I was happily surprised.
@DanGrazianoESPN: I am told Pierre-Paul has some burns on one hand and they are checking his fingers for nerve damage but prognosis is not terrible.

Been to a handful of games when Sabres arrive in town. Us fans represent well in Colorado. There's always a pre and post game hang out at Lodo's Bar near Coors Field and the place is packed on both floors.

You know, I've been an Avs fan since 95 when they relocated and now, 20 years later, I notice that 90% of the Sabres fans I know also say Colorado is their West team, or 2nd favorite.
Actually, the only Sabres game I've ever been to was a Sabres Avalanche game back when STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU BARNES!!!! was the captain.
I just noticed most Sabres fans are also Avs fans.
Also, if anyone remembers the news interview when Stu Barnes got traded, the guy was seriously broken up about it and almost in tears the entire time. That was more heart-breaking than Drury/Briere IMO. Barnes was always my favorite player. Until Maxy-Poo came along

Simple remedy, he just needs to get his butt out there and put on a show. He had his 9 games last year, got a taste of what it's like and what he needs to do. He has now had almost entire year to beef up and work on his skating. Not saying anybody should expect the world from him, but he should be much improved this season.

I knew a guy who's mother loved Max and every time he got the puck she would clap her hands softly and say "Oh, Maxie Poo! Go! Go!" and I just thought it was the funniest thing and have called him Maxi-Poo ever since.
On a side note, I looked on ebay recently trying to find a blue Afinogenov Thrashers jersey and couldn't. God I would love to have that jersey. They were beauties IMO.
