Yeah. I wouldn't mind using Simmonds to move Macdonald or Vinny's contracts. Could you move them to Arizona for a pick and Branden Perlini who is a LW. Could you maybe get Virtanen from Vancouver. I don't know. I just have some gut feeling that either Read or Simmonds are moved.

Simmonds is not a player you use to trade another contract in my opinion. That's a bad idea.

I wouldn't mind have fehr as a depth player. He's got speed, he's big, strong, plays good defense. We really don't have much room for him though.

To me, he's a clear upgrade over VdV/Umberger/White/etc. so if we can get him, I'd have no problem with him taking one of their spots.

When was that scouting report from? Don't believe everything that is written on the internet. Best way is to watch the player, he's not slow.

There is absolutely no way that I would move Simmonds to get rid of a bad contract. He's too valuable to be a cast away.

He'll never win a speed skating competition, but he's not exactly Eric Cairns out there either. To me, he's like Brian Boyle without the assholishness.
