I guess the biggest question really is who's going to be worse then the Flyers.

Something big would have to happen for them not to be in the lottery this season again. Top three picks this year determined by the lottery so even if they're last they could pick 4th.

Who could be worse than the Flyers? Arizona. NJ. Carolina. The Leafs.

Are the Sabres going to be worse than the Flyers? I'm going to say no. Not on paper.

They have to play the games but if there's no upward motion by the kids we're looking at the same team plus Medvedev, Gagner and Neuvirth and less Grossman, Rinaldo and Emery. That's not much of an upgrade.

Seeing the prospects get some NHL time will be what keeps the season watchable if they struggle as much as last year.

There's plenty to look forward to. Rookie camp, training camp, getting a glimpse at the future, there could be surprises in camp, you never know.
