For all the good natured ribbing Matt Ellis gets on this board, it's great to see him back with the organization, he's as down to earth as people come and he seems like he's honestly never taken a second of his playing career for granted. Great role model for the kids in Rochester

Keleta wants to come back. I wonder if he's had any bites from other teams.
If not, I'd like to at least see him sign an Ellis-type deal in Rochester. He'd be another strong role model for the kids.

I was thinking the same thing about Kaleta. I know some people hate him, but i don't really mind him one way or another. He can always fill a role on the sabres 4th line if theres injuries.

Everywhere he has been Matt Ellis has always be the pro's pro. He will play the role he is asked to play and he will do it to the best of his ability.

Having a guy that had to fight, scratch, and crawl his way to the NHL in Rochester with the young guys like Bailey and Baptiste to show the way to make it is ideal for the organization.

Something Garth wrote actually made sense...could this be the beginning of him transitioning to coach? A player/coach. TM did say they were thinking about going a route that hasn't been tried before.
