Pretty sure you are. He is not taking a roster spot from a player of significance, he can help teach the kids to win in the AHL, and give years of experience on how to handle a full season grind. He's exactly the type of player that is needed down there.

Sam is going to be just fine. Maybe even better, now that ROR and/or Jack are theoretically taking tougher matchups away from him.

Once 23 is confirmed as Reinhart's number on the Sabres roster, I plan on getting his jersey. I am a big fan of Reinhart and I think he is going to do amazing things for this team over the next 10+ years. Probably won't be flashy but somehow he'll (eventually) rack up 60+ points per year and be +20.

I think we find out what Jack's number is tomorrow he is going to do it at the scrimmage

Not everyone .. Sam will do good and come into camp even bigger and stronger. Ike talked nothing but praise for him a couple days ago. They both will have a learning curve and be 2 of the best players on the team.

Something Garth wrote actually made sense...could this be the beginning of him transitioning to coach? A player/coach. TM did say they were thinking about going a route that hasn't been tried before.
