He stood apart from his linemates on a number of occasions and there was a time when he stole the puck and maintained control in the Gold Zone almost at will, it was like the Gold were on the PowerPlay, he is Awesome! - MEBSabresFAN
He looked nervous and a little like he wasn't going all out, did show some flashes but overall he was a bit dissapointing. I may have had some Garthitus tho, expecting too much. Samson was noticeably better and bigger and had confidence out there. Bailey had a sick goal as well.
good stuff.
I'd like to say I'm surprised by this, but I'm not. Guess I dodged a bullet with that one.
It's so sad. You see the LA Kings and Columbus Blue Jackets using social media like Twitter to make their presence known...and they do it really well. The Sabres are embarrassing with it. You can just tell it's some clueless intern behind the screen.
You're right though. As long as they bend over to the right people, they stay employed.

Well, LA benefits from being LA, it is an epicenter of arts and talent radiates toward it as an ultimate destination; basically you know you have made it if you are working in LA and making $$$.
Columbus actually is a hip little town, and since it is a smaller city with no other professional sports teams, it really benefits from having a strong and solid fan-base. I think there is more fan interaction, meaning, the team and it's management actually engage with them and seek out their opinions and input in order to make their experience better. Columbus has a surprising locale.
Except for that moron who comes in here and trolls us lately, they have a solid fan base. God he is awful, and he really is giving their fans a bad name, because they are a really loyal fan base.
