It appears Johhny Oduya is staying patient in hope of returning to #blackhawks. Told he turned down significant offer from #sabres
I would expect a trade sooner rather than later. - Sabresfan-365
they have to move more then sharp to sign oduya and kruger |

Really ? are people really this crazy please give me a list of players the last 10 years they have played in AHL as the first overall pick forward? - gerbe75pts
I did this 6-12 months ago. 1st overall picks(or 1st forward) over that last 15 years is roughly 50% that saw a full season on an NHL roster (in their first year? - can't remember exactly). Doesn't mean hes a bust or that he's not good. It's pretty common. I believe in Sam, but I am not YET ready to believe in him THIS year. |

moving crawford and sharp may not be enough to get those 3 locked up beyond this season because they will have to pay shaw as well then |

Not that Reinhart going to Rochester is completely unfathomable, but I'm not sure how one can be so sure the guy "isn't ready" when he outplayed a certain other teenager head to head, and he's virtually guaranteed to make the team. |

You all do realize Reinhart is "technically" more NHL ready than Eichel is as of this writing, correct?
Reinhart won't be in the AHL. Now, that's just my opinion. I severely doubt he's sent down unless he falls flat on his face at training camp. Bylsma will have no problem deploying ROR all over the line-up; he's not a lock to play center himself.
Moulson-Girgensons-ROR
Kane-Reinhart-Ennis
McGinn-Eichel-Gionta
Foligno-Legwand-Larsson
Forwards are tremendously better. Two defensemen away from being very, very legit in the East IMO. - mochoson
technically, yes...physically, no...that was the whole point of sending him down last fall...he was overmatched by the bigger, more physical players |

I have been saying I expect playoffs this year. Think of last year when we all wanted (or so it seemed) to lose and we would be in tons of games we had no business in. The roster is easily 10X better (maybe more) and I think we will make the playoffs. Maybe not last long in the playoffs, but make it none the less.
Eichel as a 2nd or 3rd pairing would kill most other teams lines. Dude is crazy talented and wants to work hard, same with Reinhart. The beginning of the season might be a hot mess, but that will change, fast. |

splitting hairs, there, jr...but I get your point...
imo, there's really no need to rush him...Detroit has been pretty successful at letting their players develop...no reason, imo, the sabres shouldn't do the same, especially this year |

List me players that have gone first overall forward that went to the AHL or have not played in the NHL the next year it just does not happen in this age - gerbe75pts

You clearly just added this word 2 seconds ago. It doesn't even make sense grammatically. It's not a big deal if forwards are what you meant. Lying about it is retarded, but do you pimpin' |

Eichel will be too at least at certain times this year. I still believe Reinhart would have figured things out during the season had they let him stay, but it's irrelevant at this point. |

I know and understand that. I'm saying based on the fact that he got a 9 game cup of coffee alone, he is ahead of Eichel. He knows what to expect. |

that was in junior...and mcsavior's skating is far superior to reinhart's...he also skates at 195 and can do everything at a high speed carrying that weight |

if your name is freakorenko, max or reinhart
you need to play with skilled players because that is the game you play your entire life
not sure why coaches can't see that
