It's 2nd hand info but most of the folks who have attended have noticed a sizeable improvement in his skating.

this puts Reinhart on the wing with 2 vets and Eichel on the second line with 2 vets

He's a lock his goal was to work on his overall game that's why his stats are weird and you must have missed the World Juniors he was the best player

Side note: I kept my eye on Cattenacci (sp?) that first practice... He is a joke and his attitude still sucks, looked lost out there more than anyone. One of the coaches was trying to teach him and he just skated away.
That dildo will never reach the NHL, IMO.

I remember him being rumoured to Buffalo after the finals but I think that was from EK. Anyway with Murray at the helm its hard not to feel that anything is possible.

The coaches seem to be giving Fasching some individual attn during these drills...
He needs it
His skating is clearly not up to par with most others
Carrier is another guy I noticed tht looks like he needs more work too

Reinhart looked decent, still needs work
Catenacci looked really good, no surprise
Dupuy has speed.
McCabe looked good.
Bailey is a lot faster than I thought. Nice wheels for a big guy. He moved well
Those were the guys that stuck out to me so far

As far as the goalies go...
Johansson is BIG and moves fantastic, needs work on rebound control
Makarov looked bored & uninterested, but performed the best all around
Kasdorf was just ok. He let in about twice the goals as the other 2 combined

I don't think Reinhart ever sniffs 30 goals so yeah umm no would be correct IMO.

Tavares is the much better goal scorer.

I agree. Tavares is a PPG player. Reinhart maxing out will be a 65-70 point player.

Reinhart and Tavares have some similarities though. Both aren't the best skaters, were similar size when drafted.

While Tavares clearly has the better offensive abilities I think Reinhart's hockey IQ will help him be a better two way player than Tavares.

My $20 says at the first opportunity, when Reinhart is on the ice opposite Lioneater, Reinhart goes out of his way to crush the Lioneater and knock him off his feet.

Not sure people truly appreciate how good Tavares is. He Managed to single handely make moulson look like a 1st line player and hes the only reason PA Parenteau has an nhl career.
