A stalker? No...i just find your stance on the Sharp trade comical. But, agree to disagree this is a forum so everyone can voice their opinions. Cheers - CanuckDon
Fair enough if you don't like what I said but can you please provide some specifics. It's easy to say someone is 'comical' but you have to back it up with some sort of salient facts, mkay. So let's have at in, then.... which parts of my summary did you find 'comical'. Hope we get some quality specifics; I'm sure |

I didn't call you comical. My thoughts on the trade were made clear earlier. I believe Dallas is getting the best player (Sharp) and a very strong prospect (Johns). cHI is getting what, $1.9MM in cap relief and a 4th liner and a defenseman that can't play defense? I believe Chicago got fleeced and you believe it's the other way around...but that's the beauty of a debate |

So, you're saying Daley and Garbutt are sh*tty just because you said so, right? I don't see you backing that up with any sort of hard facts about the player and/or his statistics etc. Maybe Daley (can't play defense - good one, do you actually watch hockey?) and Garbutt aren't great in your opinion (have you ever actually see them play? I very much doubt it, at least in terms of being able to make any sort of salient comments) but that's not necessarily the case in reality. Why don't you stick to actual tangibles and none of this nebulous bulls*hit you are spewing.
P.S. "i [sic] just find your stance on the Sharp trade comical". So that's not calling someone comical by virtue of association, no? go boink yourself, you self-righteous wanker |

I think his argument is that cap space is more valuable than what they're giving up and it gives Chicago more room to improve even if Dallas gets the best player out of the deal. |

Isn't Lidster responsible for the defense? if that's the case, as you noted, how does he manage to keep his job? definitely a headscratcher to say the least. I think even the most basic/average hockey fan gets it (Sbisa+Bieksa = NOT a good thang) - Zogg
Thats exactly why I was calling for his head at end of season. Team zone b reakout was a disaster and thats exactly what the flames used against us. They know to send 2 guys in both in front / behind our D to create turnover a d it worked great. All season you could see us pinned in our zome for huge a ounts of time and watch other teams..... they are out of their zone in 2-5 seconds. Canucks were usually 20 -35. Not good . Yet no one addressed it over a whole season. No one said " we gotta work on this.....practice tomorrow morning boys we are gonna do breakout drills"
Finally we are down 3-1 in series and thats when it finally gets addressed,. Much too late.

You strike me as a chubby kid that never played hockey. That's ok though, you have the right to express your opinion. I'm not sure why you took my initial comments so offensively. Daley was a disaster last season in terms of driving play and most metrics beyond "goal scoring." We won't agree on this particular trade and to be frank, I don't particularly value most of your comments. So, cheers |

Just ignore him, I've already reported him, otherwise he'll drag the thread down more than it is already with the Zogg/CanuckDon throwdown. Speaking of throwdowns, did anyone watch UFC 189? I'm so pissed for Rory |

It's withdrawal. I finally understand why otherwise reasonable hockey fans kind of lose their shlt this time of year. Of course there are still those people whose shlt is lost all year long, but they're to be pitied, really. |

That's what I figured. The thread's in the mud already, I might as well put on my bathing suit and dive in.
Plus I just quit smoking, so every single thing pisses me off and feeling self righteous is actually an improvement. |

You're all about 'insights' (aka your own agenda) but have yet to respond to my request for actual/tangible facts that clearly show Daley was a disaster last season (I take you agree with me on Garbutt, then? ).
With respect to my opinions, nobody is forcing you to read, so just go past my comments, ya pickled abortion. No need to cast aspersions when we are supposedly having a hockey conversation. You obviously don't know what you are talking about, anyway - otherwise, you would go further than just saying ' Daley was a disaster' - let's hear some actual anecdotal evidence at least, if not for the stats, which I was using. It doesn't take a @#$#@ rocket scientist to see very clearly that Daley had a great season last year. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Sharp is now on the over-the-hill gang ( as much as I love him as a player) and someone who is very prone to injuries. If Dallas can get a full year out of him I would be extremely surprised.
Anyway, don't let the door hit you on the way out, you know-it-all self-righteous douchebag |

I've merely been expressing my opinion(s), Knight and just backing up what I've said earlier, to what is obviously a know-it-all troll (who seems has some sort of extensive background with respect to disliking my posts -which I confess is a little creepy lol)
In any event, I'm done with this tool, it's not worth the aggravation of dealing with someone who is obviously trolling for dollars and can't back anything up in terms of actual facts |

Oh I know, I was doing it myself earlier to someone who thought Hamhuis was going to bring us a 1st rounder+ at this coming year's TDL and used Sekera as an example. It's all good, I respect all the opinions of the regulars here even if I don't always share them. |
