There are some sad and warped opinions on here today. - TerryPegula
Probably best to just start a new topic and move on.
So, in the spirit of doing just that, I'm glad to see that Reinhart looked good during Development Camp. I think Murray made the right decision last year by sending him back to Jr. He's much improved at this point this year over where he was at the same point last year. |

Correct.
A law is a law and if broken deserves what you get if caught. - cabin
Yeah a law is a law and he'll get what he deserves a fine and community service maybe. But suspending him is too much. |

Its a matter of opinion buddy. I can see just fine.
I don't think someone speeding or getting a DWI should make them being suspended from their work a completely unrelated situation.
If there is harm to someone then that's another story.. - bluengold12
Laws are made so that people do not get hurt.
Someone getting hurt should not determine if the law should be applied or not. |

I'd bet no unless Murray overpays. Maybe he does just so this deflects attention from O'Riley. I feel like he's destined to end up in Dallas.
I don't know when he turned down that offer from us. If it was because he didn't want to play here or if it was because he was still waiting on Chicago |

Good chance it clicked mid-late season, but I agree, it didn't hurt in any way to send him back. I'd safely say he was key to that team's success this year since they were crap before he was sent down and they ended up making the playoffs.
I'm all for being patient with the development of anyone, especially your best players |

I'm talking about suspension. He will be punished according to the law and that will be a fine and restricted licence. There's no law in the NHL. I'm saying because he didn't hurt anyone he shouldn't be suspended. |

Big time question right here. See, if it wasn't the "good" Denny's, I'd be fine with it. |

He said his kids or wife could have been there... If your kid is sitting at a Tim Horton's at 4AM somethings wrong... Do we even know if the Tim Hortons was open?
Yeah I do agree with that policy and hopefully the NHL and Sabres don't suspend him. I think it was an airheaded thing to do and yeah he's a millionaire I get it no excuse. But a humbled sincere apology a little community service and a hefty fine and lets put this in the past and worry about beating the Senators on October 8th - bluengold12
So next time a player from another team lights up a Sabres with an elbow or boarding, but the Sabre player wasn't injured, I'll bring this up. |

So NHL players should have free reign to drink and drive and not worry about their jobs.... as long as they dont kill anyone. |

Completely different circumstances. Considering yours happens in a game and causes contact with another person and this is a DWI with no one at harm. Nice try though. |

No again I said countless times it's his first offense. Maybe look back a bit before you throw out a comment like that. First offense first mistake I'm not a dictator but seems you are. |

Murderers walk free among us. So do drug dealers, murderers in a roundabout way.
The kid (frank)ed up. Drank too much.
Shouldn't be a witch hunt, though. Let him pay his fine, take away his license, suspend him half dozen games, subject him to mandatory testing and/or alcohol counseling, etc. And hopefully he learns his lesson. |

Oh your so cool... You made a quick out statement thinking you're smarter but in reality all you did was make a sly remark that made it seem like you were right. You didn't try and refute my point at all. |
