I feel Reinhart could have a really good year. With the drafting of Eichel I feel the pressure has gone away a little. I feel he could be an under the radar star for us this year. - BuffaloKyle

show me some reports that players come back from the injury fully healthy |
|

Sure he is, I posted yesterday I got a text saying that the Sabres are going to up there offer to Oduya. Unless the Hawks move Bickell they won't be able to come close to the Sabres offer, or if Oduya gives them a big discount. - SABRES 89
Ya murray was on record yesterday morning in press conference saying he was still interested in oduya |

Players who are injured the season before and have half a season plus all of the off season to come back from injury are generally fully healthy even if they have a little soreness when they first start out |

This is a little different though. Micro fracture knee surgery has a not so great success rate, you combine that with his age and it's not promising. It has cut a lot of careers in the nba short (Oden comes to mind, McGrady had to call it quits earlier as well).

Anyone else not a fan of bringing in Oduya??? I think that he would cost too much, and would want too long of term. I'd rather try to pick up an offensive D-man via trade, or stand pat until next year, and let McCabe, or Ruhwedel have a shot. We already have Oduya in Gorges, don't we??? - bobmack13
It all depends on term for me. I'm not worried about $ if it's shorter term. I'm a little worried we bring him in for 4+ years though, which even at a lower rate would be bad IMO. |

Unless they shed more salary first, I can’t see them having room for Kruger and Oduya, leaving the Sabres, Bruins and Stars as perhaps his only choices. |

Sure okay. But as far as I know Gorges has said a few times since the end of the season that he feels much better and fully expects to be 100% healthy well before training camp. If not there would have been reports saying he may not be ready for training camp which we've seen none of thus far. |

If he goes with the clueless Bruins I'll be pretty pissed. Can't blame him if he wants to join the Stars though. |

Most athletes would say that. Im not saying he won't be able to play, but he's the not going to be the guy we expected when we dealt a 2nd rounder for him. |

I wouldn't go any longer than 3 years, otherwise you're getting into scary territory. |

it seems we always trade for the defenseman that we should have had for years ago and then it's too late |

I understand he's the best option for this year's market but I'm not sure he's the right guy for the Sabres situation. |
