Been to Austin several times, great city, especially the local music scene on 5th street. San Antonio is great too.

Yeah that's why I'd like to check out Austin for the music scene. I've heard San Antonio is cool too.

Been widely speculated that its either us or Dallas with Boston being an outside chance. Most reporters are speculated Dallas has the inside chance but that Buffalo is a serious contender.

The river walk in downtown San Antonio is cool, lots to do. Boudro's is the best restaurant in that city. A must visit.

Islanders, LA, Edmonton, Columbus have all been linked but I don't think they want to take on a 3 year or longer contract of a veteran

Only city I hear is worth visiting or spending significant time in is Austin. I hear Austin is awesome

My niece just moved back from San Antonio and said it wasn't bad. Ton of Mexicans though and hot as hell during the day. Cold at night.

Nothing against Mexico or Mexicans but English is a 2nd language down there.

I don't think either of them are enough of an upgrade over their current top9 to make them wanna trade him

I'd rather he just take the risk and hope someone lowers their price just before the season. Worst case you stick carlo/donovan there till mccabe is ready and look for your d-man next summer.

I agree that Enstrom would be a good fit, but they have a logjam of right handed shots. If they move any defensemen I think it'll be Dustin Byfuglien.

They already traded Bieksa, and I doubt the move out Hamhuis after just trading Bieksa. Maybe at the deadline as a rental if they're struggling

I've always been high on McCabe, so I could could see him eventually pairing with Risto...
But we're at least 2-3yrs from a McCabe-Risto combo being a top pairing in the league... Prob longer
