My point is, you can never grade a trade one month after it happens, especially since nobody has played any games yet. Trades should be analyzed after a couple of years at the earliest.

It's way too early to say whether or not we overpaid. Why don't we let Lehner actually put on a Sabre uniform and play a few games before we start throwing stuff like that around?

I find it funny that when someone has a source, suddenly everyone acts like that person and the source work for them and owe them accurate up to date information. It's second hand leaked info, it is what it is.

I have no idea why people are ragging on 89, though. Even I occasionally posted what I was texted from one person in the organization and it usually lined up with what he heard. Especially O'Reilly a few days before the trade deadline.

That info got leaked too early. I was told it was basically done too. Leafs came out of nowhere. Even Bob McKenzie said Leafs were out of it.

No I'm not making fun of you. People for some reason don't get the concept of how information travels. Anyone with a source weather it's you or Garth or whatever, are getting info that generally management wishes was a complete secret. Babcock situation case in point. My point is people can't take it for what it is and they get all butthurt.
