No I'm not making fun of you. People for some reason don't get the concept of how information travels. Anyone with a source weather it's you or Garth or whatever, are getting info that generally management wishes was a complete secret. Babcock situation case in point. And look at the StL defense without JBo... No way they move him without getting defense back. We'd have to at least give up Pysyk +++

Best trade partner is prob still minny. Lot of young defenseman need for a 3rd line center. I know some in organization were very disappointed when they traded larsonn. If franson didn't mind playing on the left I wouldn't mind him. Give him a higher salary one year deal see if he can play LD

It's way too early to say whether or not we overpaid. Why don't we let Lehner actually put on a Sabre uniform and play a few games before we start throwing stuff like that around? - HonkFortheGoose

But he was a young, backup, coming off a struggling season
Why is this even a discussion?
We obviously gave up what's considered to be "overpayment"
Whether it was a division trade, or there was another team's offer we had to beat, or Murray just it fleeced...

Why are some acting like EVERY move Murray makes is a homerun?
The guy isn't perfect
This trade was a good example
But he did what he had to do to get his guy
If he works out,
Then obv that's fine & everyone will pretty much forget/not care what we have up for him
So that's cool... We'll wait & see
I think he's got a decent chance to be a good goalie for us
I would like if we went after a top goalie prospect too though, just in case
