there us no point moving EE, Jays need starting pitching and no team is going to trade a starter for him.. the team selling will want prospects.
If the make a move for a starter and reliver/closer it will cost prospects for sure.. Teams will want at min one of Sanchez, Norris, Osuna or hoffman..maybe a couple of them
The season is not wasted yet... I think it would be a waste to sit on this offence and not go for it now - senstroll
Sanchez and osuna are staying. You ONLY make a trade for a pitcher or two if they are locked next year as well.
Plus, the Jays arent one pitcher away...they're about 3 pitchers away....1 or 2 starters and a bullpen or 1 or 2 bullpen and a starter. The jays dont have what it takes to get that.
One pitcher doesnt really do much for the Jays

So, if I am grasping the current goings on in here:
Leafs are making the playoffs
Marner's making the team
Reimer and Bernier are going to play better, while allowing terrible goals in the first 5 minutes
Newfoundland and animals something something
Fantastic analysis
EDIT: Jays are done
Great! I'm all caught up |

Well technically that already exist.

The Jays also got screwed by Stroman getting injured.. he was setting up to be the Ace.. what a huge diff that would have made this season.. then you can put Sanchez in the Pen again.
I get wanting to sit on prospects..but the odds of 1 turning into a solid MLB player are low... and there is no way all of them do.. we only hear about the ones that do.. not the 99% that dont that get moved
Also there are no guarantees in baseball ever.. next season could be a write off to start |

You hear about that company that is going to start 3D printing rhino horns composed of almost the exact same elements as a natural rhino horn just to over-saturate the market and hopefully dissuade poachers from hunting them?
Seemed like a pretty noble concept, in theory. Hope it works out for them |

I believe 2 of th 3 pitchers the jays traded away in the past couple of years are playing well in the majors. Of course nothing is a guarantee....but we are 1 game below .500...not exactly a "go for it" record.
If having one pitcher injured screws up your whole pitching staff and season.....then you have a very poor and talent dry pitching staff.
The Jays need more than 1 pitcher. Thats the problem. |

It is a good concept.
But it will only saturate the market with fake rhino horns....the b@stards who kill them the real ones...will still do it.
Its time the hunters become the hunted. |

I agree.
If they want to sit and wait for "the future" like always then they should sell off some of their offense. It's in it's prime so you either sell it off to wait for the pitching prospects to HOPEFULLY prove out to be championship quality or you let sell some of the prospects to go for it now.
I think it's time to go for it now. At least you tried. |

Yup.. the good times are over..I will miss all those wonderful seasons
If Pain is coming, what the (frank) have we been experiencing the last 10 years?
I cant see how it could get any worse. As long as we are seeing small progress, the pain is leaving |

All people that have skill and cool/guts to kill an animal from close cleanly and quickly with a knife and consequently are able to skin and butcher the animal in a proper way, I have no problems with them. Normally these people are very considerate and good with animals, and in general the keep the killing to a minimum (related to their absolute needs for meat etc. from the animal).
The 'hunters' that are 'courageous' to kill an animal from 100ft+ away with a gun that could bring down a tank, and after the kill/wounding of the animal let others finish the job for them.... I feel it's better they find a different hobby. |

One is all it would take, you wouldnt know its coming.....thats the beauty about sport hunters...they only know how to hide from unarmed animals.
