I'm not a country music fan - I watched this video with the sound off - but like I would if it had Buffalo references, I found it pretty cool to see a bunch of local landmarks and stuff.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Seahawks and contract-year QB Russell Wilson remain "not close" in talks, and that Wilson wants to "be paid as if" he was a free agent.
Per Rapsheet, "thoughts of a fully guaranteed contract have not left" Wilson's mind. If there was a window for the Seahawks to get any sort of a discount on their franchise player, it has slammed shut. Wilson wants to be the league's highest-paid player, and the Seahawks lack a sensible argument for why he shouldn't be. Wilson is not the league's best quarterback, but mega deals are the reality for any elite signal caller whose time it is to get paid. This is a staring contest Seattle will eventually lose - SABRES 89
Really??? What sensible argument is there that he SHOULD be? Just replay his last play of the season over and over...sheesh
Not if he's going to be paid higher than every other player in the NFL. The Bills desperately need a good QB, but he's not the best in any way. - stashu
Regardless, I would take him in a heart beat!!!
After Jimbo, we have not had a decent QB forever!!!!

I am with you brother!!
Too slow to be effective.
Move on please. - Sabresfan88
I would just prefer they give the kids a chance and look at the waiver wire after camp or make a trade for D depth. Detroit would be a good trade partner, possibly Quincey, Kindl or Smith.
I think McCabe should get every chance to make the team.

Make that big splash for a D man next year. - mhp
This ^^ for sure. Feels like we are being desperate now when it's just not necessary.

I really like those 2 points!
We need to find out what we have in our younger "dmen", then, decide what we need on the market.

If we're not a playoff team next year, play Pysyk and McCabe and get them some valuable experience. Risto makes 3 young d men and combined with vets Bogo, Gorges, Coliacovo and Weber would be fine imo. If they want to get another dman do it but wait it out. It isn't a great d group but we're a few years away anyway.

Yup.
No need to rush to sign a less than desired dmen this year, IMO.
Well, we might actually find out what we have in Lehner, as he will face a lot of shots, and oddman rushes!

Injuries happen, so no matter if Cody signs or not, those guys will get a chance more than likely. The thought of Cody sure creates a lot of debate here. what we hope is that GMTM, the scout, must know a lot more than we do.

Well, one thing that we all know is that he is slow, and gets beat a lot.

I don't think Franson is a top 4 d man so I have no interest in paying him 5 per. I'd rather get Kyle Quincey.

Maybe Murray is concerned about Gorges health and that's why he signed Donovan and Coliacovo and went after Oduya and Franson. Just a hunch. We don't know if Gorges will be ready.
Phili has least amount of cap space and six out of their eight D signed are Left handed...
Del Zotto just signed
Medvedev - Signed this off season
MacDonald - Terrible contract
Brandon Manning - Prospect doubt they part with
Streit - No trade clause but 2 years left on deal and a heavy point producer
Schultz - Signed a 2 year extension in February but perhaps we can still swing a deal for him.

So then which one do we acquire? between them just being signed, being a good prospect, and having a NTC?
