The Sabres have a horrible roster, they have problem players that won't gel together. Mark my word. - isitin
valid point, that top line will have it's fair share of egos but Bylsma is a good coach, a players coach. I think he'll be able to keep a grasp on the egos in the room. |

special teams alone will make them a competitive team this coming season
Nolan was a joke behind the bench and he needs to give his jack adams to hasek

The best games of the year in Buffalo are when all the Leaf fans buy tickets from the season ticket holders.
They pay a premium price that pays off the sellers season tickets, and then goes crying home after a loss.
Usually starting a fight amongst themselves. |

it's too bad Ted just couldn't grasp simple concepts and the business side to the game. |

I don't see Lehner being able to handle the load on his own. The Sabres should have held onto Neuvirth. Good on Philly picking him up - the guy has potential for greatness. - Mr.Black
I thought Enroth, while on the smaller side, had a very cool demeanour meaning his head was in the right place. Goaltending is all about your head, if you're cool and confident you will remember positioning and therefore allow yourself to make those quality desperate moment saves because you're in the right place.
Lehner is a quality goaltending prospect but so have many other goalies. He was protected in Ottawa and yet solidified nothing outside of the fact that he's still a quality prospect - no NHL pedigree. And to trade a 1st round pick in such a quality draft, in my mind, is full retard.
Lindback and Neuvirth would have been a great 2-4 year experiment and after 4 years Murray would have known if either are legit or if needed to make a trade for a legit goalie - not a young prospect goalie.
Schneider was a proven commodity in Vancouver taking over the crease from LUONGO and was traded for the 9th overall pick in a lower then average draft.
Horvat compared to White? I'd take White all day. Horvat may turn into a 2nd line C but his intangibles and tools make him more a 3rd line C.
Anyway. |

I like Bylsma, I would have wanted him as the Leafs coach if we didn't hire Babcock. |

"Exist when they're playing good, making blockbuster trades etc, live under a rock until then."
their attendance is always high even though they stink, and tv ratings are always high
season ticket at an all time high for years, esp with leaf fans buying a few tickets off of stub hub at stupid prices and paying for half of their season tickets with a couple of games being sacrificed
your way out of line thinking sabre fans disappeared for the last few years - homiedclown
I'm sure around 10 thousand of your 18 thousand available seats are Leaf fans.
I'm sure you guys have passionate fans and all but I see more comments and attention paid when ROR or Kane get traded. Just my 2-cents bro |

I'd do JvR and Polak w/ 1M retained for Hertl, Dillon, 2016 2nd and 2017 3rd - optimus-reim
Best proposal I've seen so far but you guys would have to throw in more if you want to swap Dillon for pollak and I'm not too excited about polak only having one year left on his contract.. You would have to give us a 3rd round pick back to make that work. I probably wouldn't make that trade simply because I'd miss seeing that smile on hertl's face every day but I wouldn't be mad if it was made.
Marleau. Thornton. Pavelski
JVR. Couture Ward
Wingels Tierney. Goldobin
Nieto. Smith. Karlsson
Torres
Vlasic. Braun
Martin. Burns
Mueller. Polak
Tennyson
Looks pretty promising to me

JVR likely won't be traded. However if he is another team will have to overpay.
24 year old 30 goal scorer. 6 foot 3 and is one of the better skaters on Toronto. Id much rather keep him and play him with Kadri. Now that Kessel is gone the offense can circle around these two and Kadri may get back To where he was a few years ago. |

They are better building blocks than what Toronto has and it isn't even a debate. We are years ahead of you and drafted a player that is considered a top 3 prospect over the past 10 years. |

Oh my (frank), so you're actually saying that all the poop Leafs fans have had to put up with, with regards to the trolling of Phil Kessel, was all in jest? That he's actually a decent player?
After being brainwashed by trolls I'd come to the conclusion that Phil is and always will be useless and now this?
It's like the last episode of lost when he found out he was dead. Mind blown. - walshyleafsfan

It's amazing what two blockbuster trades in a 6 month time frame will do to a fan base eager to win. |

I love the Islanders by the way. Thought the Clutterbuck for Nieds trade was brilliant.
Tavares, Strome and now Barzal. Garth Snow is making a name for himself. |
