He's not even as good as Bobby Orr... how could he be great at anything?

Amazing what has become of him. I've never seen an athlete that was so dominant completely turn to mush the way Woods has.

- PLindbergh31

I was talking about this last week.. when was the last time a guy had a collapse like the one Tiger has had?

Two weeks ago he had his first event where he didnt bogey twice in over 5 years... The next day he shot an 82 I think. Crazy.

She is still giddy in love. Wait until you forget to put the seat down after a 2 am trip to the bathroom.

Streit? He's awful. Not even great at anything
- Jsaquella

Streit is way above average on the PP. He struggles in some areas, but he's been pretty good. I think it would be prudent to move him and get some assets for him. At his age, he's not going to be around when the Flyers are ready to contend, so get something for him that helps the future.

The AMac situation is such a tired argument. Rehashing it day after day, after day is beyond tiresome. I just hope

1.) They find a new home for him
2.) His play dramatically improves

Neither is all that likely, I think it's what you see is what you get with him. Like you said before, if the Flyers didn't already have a couple of albatrii, MacDonald wouldn't be a huge issue, but with VLC and Umberger being dead weight, it's tough to have MacDonald on top of that.

Well that is different. Catastrophic injury. A guy of Howards size, that is a brutal injury to come back from. And Howard was never on the level of an athlete like Woods.

Woods has had some injuries, but he's still relatively young by golf standards. He's in very good physical shape. It has to be all in his head at this point.

I think the best thing I could compare Woods to, would be if Michael Jordan came back from his short stint playing baseball, and became a player that averaged 5 points a game.

I don't know if Umberger or VLC are going to start the season in the lineup if they break camp with a healthy roster.

They re-signed White, and VV. Hakstol's familiarity with VV makes me think he's going to give him a pretty long leash, and based on White's play last season he deserves to be in the lineup. It's tough to swallow, but based on level of play Umberger and VLC deserve to be sitting in the press box.

From a medical standpoint... the only other thing I could guess on.. Steroids.

I'm trying to think of a hockey one, but with hockey, it's still gradual (a 50-goal scorer might go to a 20-goal scorer). Kevin Stevens is the bets I can think of. He had back-to back 50 goal seasons, then 41, then dropped to 25 and then 3. Never scored more than 23 over his final 7 seasons.

I can see Umberger fitting in somewhere, because he's been a good two way player in the past. Vinny, man...I just can't see him fitting in if Hakstol really plays the system he did at UND

VLC deserves to sit more than umberger IMO. Umberger was playing injured last year, and at least rj can play competent defense if nothing else.

Cheechoo? Went from 56 to 37 to 23.

That was all injury related, though.

Idk about that. Those photos are pretty drastic, but I've read Woods is a fanatic when it comes to weight training.
