I have no idea what goes on behind the closed doors of ownership , management , or the locker room.

Canucks are rebuilding and moving out Hamhuis Burrows and Vrbata , the Sedins may want to go play for a contender.

We are not going to challenge for a up for years , and they should be wanting to play for a top contender.

Depends on who they give up but yeah I'd probably rank them up there with CHI if they had Forsberg, Henrik, Daniel, Ribeiro, Neal, Wilson, Smith, Fiala up front with Weber, Josi, Jones, Ellis, Ekholm on D plus Rinne in net. (frank) that's sexy.

Challenge for the cup...no. But ownership still seems fixated on making the playoffs while this whole retool/rebuild goes on. So we do have to retain a few players to get there...if possible. It will be interesting to see how Benning works it out.
