You know, a lot of the things that are being said about Hudson Fasching remind me of the things that were said about Luke Adam. At the end of the day, Adam was an awful skater, which ended up being his downfall. |

Come on, you don't think ISIS would be unnerved if he became president?
This Pic should be his official one...looks crazy like he would do anything if pissed off enough...go nuclear on that armpit of the world called the Middle East. |

who is the lesser of the evils, that can win

Scott walker has proven he can stand out in liberal Wisconsin. I think he is really the best shot. I would like him to pick Cruz as his vice. |

I had thought the same thing when we traded for him. Hopefully they get him some skating lessons. I really hope we didn't give up McNabb and picks for Luke Adam |

Yet at the same time most observers were impressed with Reinharts skating improvement...which was one of his weaknesses.
Players improve, especially young ones who are 18 or 19 or so...will they turn into elite skaters, not likely but can transform it into average or serviceable.
Andrychuck was certainly not very fleet of foot, I think he used double bladed skates. |

I was about to use Andreychuk as the alternative. |

I don't really remember. But did Adam have a work ethic issue? For some reason I seem to think he did.
What is Hudson's off season workout like? Does he out in the effort |

I for one didn't mind Luke Adam. He was a pretty good player in the QMJHL. Decent player in the AHL. Wasn't given very good linemates up here in Buffalo. Under the right circumstances, he could etch out a nice NHL career. But he'll probably be buried on the Rangers 4th line - or worse, head back to the AHL. |

Different positions and a much different style of play from those two. Fasching is the big power forward that parks his rear end in front of the net. Adam was and is s perimeter player who couldn't skate well. Fasching does need to improve on his skating but it's not like speed is a huge part of the style of play he plays. |

He centered Vanek and Pomminville for a huge chunk. Basically him and Hodgson turned out to be the same. Couldn't play in his own zone and didn't have the speed to keep up on offense. Had nothing to do with circumstances. Just couldn't put it together or figure out how to be responsible in his own zone. |

????? he was playing with Vanek , Pominville it was his big head that killed his nhl career
and his little Comments about Pominville at the all star game did not help |

I agree. Fasching is not a bad skater for a big guy |

They are two totally different players though. Adam was a shooter that could never and would never go to the and get easy goals. Fasching will and does. Fasching also looks good at both ends winning battles.
I'm not a huge Fasching guy either. He could very well end up like Adam, but I don't think it will be because of skating |

I wonder how many teams with Centers from #11-#25 would trade them today for Jack Eichel |
