Where did I say this? I said I'd rather him play on the 3rd than Umberger, that's all, and considering Umby was our worst forward last year (and it remains to be seen if he won't be this year) that's not exactly the highest of praise lol. The Schenn/PEB/Simmer line actually did really good work when it was together last year. He's a super super solid 4th liner on a good playoff team who can be moved up in a pinch from time to time. Doesn't mean he's a bonafide top 9 lock, just has versatility. Feanor gave a 20 point estimate in regards to potential. I agree. And that's elite 4th line production with what else he brings. I never said he's a third liner. - Mononoke
Depends on what Umberger shows up. I personally feel the best spot for both Bellmare and the team is at 4th line center. He adds speed and puck pressure at that spot, and he can play with pace.
I agree. That said, Farnham could have hammered him before and after the fight and didn't. You could tell her really wanted to afterwards. - jmatchett383
Could've? Yes. Should've? Nope. He got knocked right to the ice with that punch from frenchy. Just cuz his ass hit the ice first he should've refrained which he did.

Absolutely. I think he intended they both ditch the hats since PEB has a visor, but when PEB didn't, I think he got pissed. Still, stupid of him to drop his without asking PEB to do the same.
Which is why I said AND he could be sent to the minors....inferring that he can't be moved, which is pretty well known around these parts. You bored, dude?

and dropping the helmet is a penalty is it? Good for peb not risking getting extra penalty minutes.
Yep, yep. Ease it back a bit, not a ton and you have more balance and are giving him more of a fair shake. That's all, he will always take the hardest minutes. Here's the kicker though....look at the leaders in Rel QoC, and then check out their Rel Quality of Teammate:
Notice who has the best Rel QoT (Bergeron). Who has the worst? Coots. That's where that comparison falls apart. And Coots also has a whole heck of a lot more potential than perennial third liners Fehr and Ward who are his next closest in terms of crappy QoT. Something has to give. - Mononoke
Agreed. I'd be happy to see him with Simmonds, ecstatic to see him get Voracek
