Yes and it's a long story. I did not know I was going for the 23. I learned that on the 22nd.

Habs fans that think Semin is any good must also wonder why no other team signed him all the time he was available.. Then again, if Habs think Desharnais is a top line center, well, why not?? Wrahahahahahah Les Delusionatants

I absolutely love the signing. Short, inexpensive contract for a player who was once capable of putting up point-per-game numbers. Semin has made it very clear that he is willing to work for a spot on the roster and get back to his old game. For a team with few weapons offensively, I expect Semin to play a big role in their offence. His creativity and scoring ability will only solidify the already dangerous Montreal power-play.

Habs will score 40+ more goals this year....Kassian and Semin will both have excellent years. PP will one of the best in the league.

There are more moves coming, look for DD and Gilbert to move. Leaves room for Galch at center, and Tinordi.

But the BIGGEST change will be MT....shift to a stronger possession game, much more offence. The team has changed HUGE from this time last year....add Kassian, Semin, Mitchell, Flynn, Petry, DSP, and the young guys will be really hitting their stride.

With Scherbach and McCarron brought up in time for the playoffs...it's going to get interesting.

The Semin signing will be the best acquisition of the year, leaguewide...wait and see!

Never mind nutters, I've been giving him the cold shoulder lately.

For those who don't think Semin is a capable winger on a shutdown line. Also, look at his PP production, one cannot label him as a PP specialist.
