By the way Pete, how's business? I know pumps have slowed down out West but I was wondering if it had been felt in construction. Fingers crossed it doesn't affect you bud. |

He's good when he's healthy.
Had a bad health year this year.
Ya never know some team may take a chance on him.
Business is just fine.
Lift costs aren't like up in the sand.
Wouldn't be so bad if it slowed down a bit more here though.
Housing prices are still stupid.

I'm glad to hear that Pete.
Looks like the new house building has slowed down http://www.cbc.ca/news/ca...my-in-oil-slump-1.3174772
I'm curious, what's roughly the price to lift a barrel in your area? |

Husky who is the big player here, I've been told it's 20-23$
No shift cuts at their upgrader which is a indicater that things would be slowing down. |

Well, some of those older SAGD plants up there are close to the same lifts.
We'll see what happens with the price once the Russians say uncle..
Oh, and also since your favorite player is with the Jays.
I'd be disappointed if you did not cheer for them. |

I have my fingers crossed that they miss the playoffs, the meltdown would be almost as good as the game7 Leafs vs Boston OT loss
Looks like they've assembled a pretty good hitting lineup. I'm far from a baseball expert, but they don't seem to have the kind of team that goes far in the playoffs. They win high pointers but don't seem to have the pitching staff to win close ones. How do they compare to the other contenders' rotation? |

I believe Oil production is roughly half of the Russian economy. It's no coincidence that the OPEP and the Americans keep pumping like there's no tomorrow. It wouldn't be the first time they unite to drive the Russians down. Saudi Arabia and USA can take the hit, not Poutine. |

My point is that the country with the worlds 4th largest oil reserves that was putting out 3.7 million barrels per day pre-sanctions will be back on the market. The price of oil won't be rising significantly anytime soon. |
