I believe Oil production is roughly half of the Russian economy. It's no coincidence that the OPEP and the Americans keep pumping like there's no tomorrow. It wouldn't be the first time they unite to drive the Russians down. Saudi Arabia and USA can take the hit, not Poutine.

Saudi Arabia's dependence on oil revenue is even higher.

My point is that the country with the worlds 4th largest oil reserves that was putting out 3.7 million barrels per day pre-sanctions will be back on the market. The price of oil won't be rising significantly anytime soon.

Ok, I see now and I agree

I hope it rises slowing (like dead chickens chicken)..

At least for a year or two.

No doubt, but they produce at a much cheaper price than Russians. They're still making loads of money even with the barrel at 64$. As I said, USA and Saudi Arabia can take the hit, not Russia.

The one thing AB has going for it is that if the Russians keep producing like they are now they'll be running out of oil in about 20 years.....unless they find new sources.

Cost of oil production in Russia averages $40/barrel for current fields.

Of course they want the price to be higher, but they're not going to curb production so they can have even less. Anyways, would love to debate this with you but I just got called into work.

Yeah, it's not a tap out. I got ordered for 0230.

Considering the assets owned by Russia, their debt is easily solvable.

We're under a state of emergency, but this region is often plagued by locusts and little comes of it. In 2014 there was the same thing here and only like 1% of the crops got killed.
