No! I like the original logo so much better. Just wish the blue wasn't so dark. - HonkFortheGoose
It isn't the original logo.
Look closely.

The one on the left is far superior. I honestly hate the current version of it.

I mean he's probably the best skating defenseman I've seen since Campbell but maybe the Sabers think he's ready crazy but cool can't wait to see him for preseason now |

I mean he's very very good at skating and was probably the best defenseman at developing camp but that's against kids
His age not players that are full grown men .. but hey maybe we have the next Erik Karlsson lol |

And he plays a physical game as well. He has a lot of the attributes you like as a dman. And he'll grow and get bigger and fill out in his 6'2 frame. Lot to like. |

He turns 18 on Wednesday. He'll be back at Prince Albert next year but could conceivably be in Rochester after that. |

Maybe the pipeline at D isn't too bad after all. If 1-2 of these kids pan out, all the better.

It is crazy, they gave him an ELC, not a roster spot. If nothing else it lets him know that he's not just another name in the organization.
He's got 2 years of junior eligibility left so my guess is they bring him along slowly. He and Martin could be the two guys they look at as the next wave of support players (when they eventually have to ditch some of their own stay under the cap). |

I for one was never totally sold on Ted Black. I think he was a hard headed guy with a soft approach(which is rare). I just saw on Twitter that the Sabres scrimmage stream drew 38,000 viewers. And the only reason they did one is they got slammed with requests to do it via phone, email and otherwise. I think that lack of foresight may have doomed Black. - Buffalo--Sabres
May be not even so much him, but the people he hired and surround himself with. If I was working for the Sabres in any capacity, as a fan I would ask, "ok, what are we doing about this scrimmage? how are we getting it to our fans?" When you pack the arena, that means there are tens of thousands of other Buffalonians all over the country that wish they could see it....Hell, make some T-shirts while you're at it. probably could have sold a couple thousand of them too!

We talked about this in some context and hopefully the hiring of Brandon is the start of completely cleaning house of the terrible Media Marketing department they have. Honestly, the Bills are just as popular now as they were during the superbowl runs and that is 100% marketing. Maybe a little loyalty but mostly marketing and media relations. |
