I remember Murray saying that Winnipeg wasn't budging on Lemieux being included. Murray said he wouldn't discuss the contract part in the PC I listened to.

All of that is true. He offered and said they couldn't come to an agreement. Does this mean that he wasn't interested in playing here? No, it doesn't. It means the ELC dollars were not settled on. Murray had full control and Claude said no. I'm sure Claude pushed for a max contract and Murray wasn't offering that. It's all speculation. But not agreeing on terms (dollars) and refusing to play here are two very different things.

The Guhle signing is bigger than the fan base realizes.
After dev camp, scouts and talent acquisition teams from several organizations were surprised at the kids skating ability. A couple were even heard to say that he was a player that got away from more than several organizations. If he develops as expected, comments were made along the lines of a solid #2 "in the future".

I dont know if it will go there or not, reports are now saying that a lot more eveidence came ut after the Wells report. Plus, if it goes to court he has to give up his cell records. I think to save face he might just take the 4 games.

First of all, Yahoo isn't exactly a gold source.

Secondly, he did have a rough year. But Anderson struggled quite a bit most of last year as well. The only guy that did well for Ottawa last year was Hammond and that's probably mostly due to there being no tape on him. Once they got to the playoffs and Montreal figured him out, he fell apart.
