Zappa Plays Zappa in Rochester got cancelled two hours before door opened.

We went to Vegas about 8 years ago (easy to calculate as my wife was pregnant with our 1st child) and we were in line to go in to see The Amazing Jonathan (at the lovely Sahara casino... ) and a few minutes before the show they came out and said he was sick and wouldn't be performing. It was quite a let down...but at least I still earned brownie points that trip with a surprise show at the Mandalay Bay on the wife's birthday.

I can see why he's so highly regarded around here.
