My friend and I were just texting each other about that trade and how thankful we are that Benning isn't our GM.

He was the guy I wanted nothing to do with when we were doing our GM search. The fact that he was as heavily rumored to be coming here as he was freaked me out.

Probably won't know anything about it until training camp. It's not like he had to rehab something. It's a blood condition. He could be fine today and then not tomorrow, so no point in speculating right now I guess when our first game is 72 days away.

I wanted Treliving. Before Murray even arose. Then I heard Murray at the opening presser. Then I wanted Murray.

I saw that too. Not to mention, we could afford to give more to get what we want due to the sheer number of picks/prospects we'd accumulated. Our prospect depth is still fine, especially when you take into account how young our overall roster is. It's not like we have a bunch of guys in their late 30s about to call it a day and no prospects ready to take over.

I think he's got one more big move to make, a top pairing guy. I think he pulls a NJ at the draft and puts the 2016 1st in play as long is it's not a top 2.

The rest is interchangeable and pretty easy to address in FA if you're careful about your spending.
