On Sunday, Nick Bonino posted this picture on his twitter account
On Tuesday Nick's ass was out the door.
I've reconsidered. Solid move by Benning. - bloatedmosquito
Lack Bonino . It is obvious Benning hates twitter |

900k is where it should be. Now Benning can spend all his money on a pay raise for Sbisa |

Some incredibly narrowminded thinking in here today.
Gotta admit that I'm not the biggest fan of the trade but its not all horrible either.
a) Benning opens up one more roster space for a younger player who WILL get ice time - isnt that what everyone is female doging about?
b) The Canucks continue to get bigger and grittier - isnt that what everyone is female doging about?
We were manhandled in the Calgary series and Benning is addressing that - not sure what the problem is. Offensively Bonino LOOKS better tha Sutter but his production is marginally better while Sutter makes up for it in FO's an dgrit.
Clendening was never going to get a fair shot and may never become a regular, Hes already on his 3rd team....i dont know guys.... - chompsey
Chompsey, Chompsey, Chompsey...your post is rather...err..kinda...well, it's just so damn objective, that you should know better than to take away this "sky is falling" rhetoric.
Meanwhile Carol is just loving the hits, it's the doldrums of summer and her blog is knocking it out of the park, even yesterdays blog is still getting hits from Booner.
Remember everyone it's July 28, there's still a long way to go, and I'm sure there will be many more controversial moves ahead...

That was a serious question. There was someone who was all corsi this and that, everyone ganged up on him, and he hasn't been heard from since. I know it's hard to remember, it was during the Esplen dynasty... - 1970vintage
I remember that, can't remember who buddy was though. |

Sutter is an upgrade over Bonino as well as a better player at the trade deadline. He is a better well rounded player & more consistent.
Re-signing Sutter for about $4 million or less in with expiring contracts coming up in the next 2 to 3 years works out well also. Bending is creating a window so prospects and his draft picks can enter after being seasoned in the AHL.
After looking ahead to how the roster could look in 3 to 5 years looks fine by me |

Thats two posts like that without an explanation. - boonerbuck
What I mean is you really don't have to go through and respond to everything that happened several hours ago... Nobody is going to read those. |

I would have to think Bonino was good to be disappointed with the player swap. Unfortunately, it wasnt a 1 for 1 deal.

Haha, I thought I was a step behind.
It was explained that I didnt know. I was replying by opening up a second window while going page by page on the first. Once I started to catch up it was obvious.
If you need it explained a 3rd time I'll post it in a meme or something so it catches your attention.
I'm not even going to read through this this thread... I can only assume it's the same as the last 8 pages on the old thread.

AM I FORGETTING ANYONE? Also don't mind the order lines 3 and 4 will play the same amount but players like sutter and dorsett will get PK time. Sutter all D zone face-offs Vey all O zone face-offs. blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda - manvanfan
I don't think JB brought Prust in to play on the same line as Dorsett. He wants to have truculance across the team, not just on 1 line. |
