I think at most he gets a PTO at camp, and doesn't make the team. |

And tune in next spring to hear Ryan tell us why the Pittsburgh Analyticals didn't win the Stanley Cup. Again. |

I didn't know Matt Cooke played Baseball.
See, you got to look close at the Tweets.
Matt Cooke is being signed by the .........
Pirates........
You know the MLB trade deadline is just 3 days away.
The tweet never said for the Penguins - so I think it is a joke!

Zero issue with a camp invite at the league minimum if he makes the team |

It's a good trade, but only marginally improves the team. That's my point. I didn't say the pens got fleeced, I said they aren't leaps and bounds better. Do you guys take everything out of context? - flyerscup2011
Yeah and the Flyers were crap last year and have done what to get better? Exactly f all. Expect that finish second last in the Met. |

Not sure why everyone is making a big deal about this Cooke thing. I thought he meant he was returning to live in Pittsburgh... something he said he was going to do even before he got to Minnesota. |

One of my ideal scenarios involving the Caps was; trade Mojo's rights for Bonino, then re-sign Fehr.
At least one team listened... |

One of the ideal scenarios I had in mind was trading Sutter+ for Mojo. Rutherford did better than that.

That would not have been ideal for the Caps.
I really hate Sutter. I think more than you Pens fans do. |

I think the Caps are moving Beagle up to 3C. I was hoping the Pens would pick up Beagle when he was a UFA. I thought Beagle played great in the playoffs for the Caps. I'm not complaining that the Pens did get Fehr and Bonino though. Do you think Beagle will be the Caps 3C? Do you think Fehr is better as a center or winger? |

Here's an interesting though; Beagle is making 250K less than Fehr. What the (frank). I like Beags, but he is nothing more than a capable 4th liner. If he gets spot duty up (which he will), it's not based on his ability as a hockey player.
Beagle should not start at 3C. bMac has said he is looking for a 3C, and given his track record of acquiring things he says he wants, he will get his 3C. Now, he could very well think it's Mojo or Bura who will start there. Not ideal in my opinion.
Fehr is capable at any position. He's been a big scoring winger his whole career, but he adjusted fine to center.

You get your rumors from accounts that need to add digits into their name because the original is already taken, do I really need to say anymore? Hell everyone knows they've been shopping Kunitz since the draft, but they've been waiting for the right kind of deal and aren't going to give him up for the sake of making a move. |

I was surprised Beags got 1.75M. I believe Beags is a very good 4th liner who can fill in on the 3rd line. I always think of Mojo and Burakovsky as wingers. Maybe Santorelli would work for the Caps or a trade, I guess. |

The great thing about Fehr that I don't think a lot of people are considering is that he is a natural winger. He can very well slot into the top-6 and give Malkin or Crosby a big body with nice hands to work with. He doesn't have Neal's shot, but Fehr has really nice hands for a big guy.
All you Kunitz downers could very well have your replacement in Fehr, with Bonino centering the third. |

That's not nearly as strong of justification as having him play ineffectively for your team. |
