No, we just get charged more for cable any time the execs need lunch brought into the office. |

Maybe Russ Brandon could do something smart like offer an internet only streaming of Sabres' shows and games and just avoid the regional coverage for all of us that have cut the cord. Or at least examine that possibility after the regional TV contracts expire, which is what 8 years with MSG . Think of all the direct revenue they could generate by having only one or two programs a day that loop and the game feed, minus national broadcasts, if they did that.
Hit all the transplants that moved from Buffalo, instead of paying NHL center Ice packages they could pay the team directly. It would also let those of us that HATE regional cable providers
Probably violates contractual obligations though. Nice to dream. |

would be my guess, cause what you thought probably would have been done a long time ago. Reason why I couldn't watch games at my house in Kentucky and had to pay a bar to get center ice package |

I would have to think that in a league of revenue sharing, the NHL would frown about that. The TV networks pay the team for the broadcast rights, not vice versa, so the Sabres would be losing out on revenue, and have to recoup their own production money via advertising.
It will be interesting to see where the Sabres land after next season (2016-2017) ends. I would have to think either MSG will pony up some big bucks to keep the team there, or Time Warner Sportsnet will step up to the plate. Buffalo does not have any other sports channel (i.e. Fox Sports, Root, etc.) here, so their options are limited. |

Thought I heard somewhere they're doing single team packages....however, Endicott, NY falls in the Sabres region. So I can't get the games without a regional cable provider.... |

correct by Canalside, Pretty good idea if they can get the crowds before games and events.
The one in Newport that was across the street form where I worked was helped by concerts and the fact that 3 stadiums are across the bridge form it.
It always was the place you meet up with your friends get your base and move onto where your evening is meant to go.
Good food as well if you like traditional German Fare |

My cousin lives within walking distance of the one in Pittsburgh so I've been numerous times. I do love that place, and it will most certainly have a massive draw to it once it opens. It will help spike further canal side development. Very exciting stuff.
I'm also excited about the World of Beers opening in the mall. Very cool place.. the Cuse location in the Destination USA mall is too small. There's a much better operation in Orlando and I think this one in the Galleria is moving into an old Ruby Tuesday's, so hopefully it's big enough to adjust for the foreseeable very large amount of traffic I'm certain it will receive. |

Work still being done on Sutter extension in VAN, but hearing five years is expected to be the term. AAV sounds like just under $4.4M.
I can't believe we seriously considered hiring this guy - Sabresfan-365
Thank god we didn't. Bennington stinks as a GM. Kinda surprised tbh. |
