LOL butchered. 2 players, one that wanted to leave.
Not like we built a new line out of Kassian and Semen.

So you honestly believe Sweeney looked at Hamilton, said nah, not gonna sign him, rushed a trade, then went looking at almost as expensive clearly not as good fa fill ins? That's ridiculous. Also it's been heavily reported Boston offered multiple contracts in that range and Dougies agent never responded/ countered. Let it go. I have a feeling Sweeneys gonna get treated a lot like Eriksson. People will ignore all the good he does because he made a bad first impression - Shaundre93
I think that Sweeney is doing an excellent job, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ....... I hope the Bruins never fire him, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ....... |

You guys are entitled to your opinion but if the Bruins aren't ravaged by injuries and Carey Price doesn't have a hof season I bet the B's finish better than the habs. Mtl forward group is bubble team caliber |

Jets need to trade Buff for assets, period. The asset return will be worth way more than Buff is to them. |

Come on now. Not trying to trash thé habs, but they're no guarantee in my eyes, which is basically my whole point. Habs relied too heavily on price, can he repeat and/or will the offense improve? Who's Detroits goalie? And how long can hank and dats dominate? Will ottowa improve or regress? What's buffalo gonna look like? Is Florida gonna take the next step?
In my eyes, the Atlantic is WIDE open after TB. Hence why I said they're the only team CLEARLY better than Boston. Lots of q's in Boston but I really believe the forward group has some potential and I feel between Bergy, Chara, Rask and Julian keeping the puck outta the net will be the least of our worries. Call me an optimist but I still see Boston as a playoff team, assuming they add another d man |

Well I'm glad this was posted by ecklund so it's likely not happening! As a Bruins fan id hate to see them use byfuglien as the pillar on defence. He's out of shape and has lots of deficiencies on defence. And is likely going to command 6M plus in an extension. |

You think your lineup guarantees a playoff birth?
Hardly. Anything can happen, average season by Price and you're screwed.
Boston changed little since cup runs. Bad injury season and you see what can happen.

Wow. No wonder you're a Habs fan, so pretentious. I'm sure Semin and Kassian will really make you guys cup contenders |

If Carey is anything less than mvp caliber you're a bubble team. I so hope that happens now. You had a putrid offense last year and addressed it by adding Semin and Kassian.... Good luck with that |

Not sure where buff is going but it seems like boston is in a mini rebuild atm. Buff is physical and fights, he would have fight in perfectly when boston had lucic and boydchuck. Doubt boston is giving up assets for a possible rental.
Doesnt detroit, colorado, dallas all want a RHD? |

That's how every season starts. IF you weren't a pretentious d bag we could have probably had a reasonable conversation about why I think the B's could be successful. |
