Not that I agree with the Sutter deal but he was set to be a UFA at season end. You tend to pay more for potential UFA's. It's just the way it works.

The Sutter deal is actually right in line with what Couturier signed for as well, so it's probably the going rate for those kind of guys these days.

I'd be perfectly ok with getting Girgensons signed to something in that ballpark if it's a long term deal as well.

He's not worth the money. RFA UFA ELC 35+ or Infinity Ammo or God mode. Never at any time does he deserve over four million dollars.

Cassel is doing nothing to win the job; he simply hasn't been as bad as the other two. GM Doug Whaley openly admitted Wednesday morning the Bills are in "quarterback purgatory," as in they're going to be too good to get a top pick in the draft.
