It wasn't actually a question that was asked. Someone said they'd take a team of all allstars over a team of heart.

And neither one of those formulas win the Cup. You need a combination of both. Sometimes you get lucky and your all stars also have heart (see Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews).

I don't recall barker ever getting "paid". Had that one season with the hawks where he had 40 pts but that was about it for him.

for the record I really like nash

Only good thing Darcy did for this orgaization was trading Vanek, it has led to what we see here today. Pominville was a nothing player, worst C this team has had and he isn't a leader.
