Agreed.
So, with that in mind, which player do we pile on for being terrible today instead?? - HonkFortheGoose
Clearly this topic isn't as interesting as the last one... |

With that said, the Buffalo News already has TWO articles written about him... - seedy
There's also a huge difference between reporting sources are telling you (what the Buffalo News is doing) and giving an opinion on the matter (which is what Ek would be doing). It's consistent. |

Yeah I could see these manifesting. That being said I don't think it will be as bad as previous whipping boys. |

They've done a pretty amazing job jettisoning the guys I couldn't stand. Hodgson, Grigorenko, Mezaros, etc.
Moulson is probably my least favorite Sabre at the moment. Seems a nice guy, but holy hell are we paying him more than he's worth. |

Yeah, a buddy of mine quantified the Moulson as Gionta contracts as gifts from a rich owner who needed to reach the cap floor so he gave a going away present to two semi-local guys. Respectable ones. |

Agree with that.
Nowhere near as egregious as Hodgson / Leino in the $ for play region, and at least bring good attitudes to the ice |

Getting rid of Hodgson was our single best offseason move imo(minus the obvious drafting of Eichel). |

Well, one of the two stories is an outline of his history of drunkenness and run ins with the law. I suppose its just in case anyone forgot.

Probably pretty accurate. Lehner is gonna have a lot of critics to silence because many people didn't like that trade. |

The closest I get to wearing pajama pants in public are yoga pants. I've yet to hear a guy complain about a woman in yoga pants in public (unless of course she shouldn't be wearing yoga pants to begin with, if you get my drift). |

Nice analysis there Matt, thanks for doing so.
Must say the orientation of the top graph is weird...normally the worse than/worst than quadrant is in the bottom left, with the Top Right the Better than/Better than quadrant...took me a second glance to notice it. Weird. - IonSabres
Thank you. The reason for that is that the better you are in corsi against/goals against stats, the lower the number, therefore the better defensive category is below the y axis |
