They said on the news that going to the grand jury pretty much takes it out of the responsibility of the Hamburg police, that they would rather stay in the background of a high profile case.

No - it's going to the grand jury because that's the way the procedure works, unless the defendant waives his right to have a grand jury review the prosecutors case.

The grand jury doesn't look at any defense. It only examines all the prosecutions evidence, to determine whether the prosecutor has enough to even charge the crime. If the grand jury OKs the charge it means the defendant gets a chance to punch holes in that proof, and to present its own alibi, defense, etc.

But I only slept last night in a holiday inn.

My mother in law works there.. could have gotten you the friends and family rate if i would have known.

thats why i favor body cameras on cops. Not only does it cut down on acts of excessive force, It's also been proven in cities where they're already used to decrease the number of claims of excessive force.

As a cop in Myrtle Beach I thank you for this mindset! I promise you I'm only stopping you if you're suspected of criminal activity. Once/if you're ruled out of such things we'll go separate ways with me being very appreciative of your cooperation!

The cops (some) don't treat people with respect either...
People don't have to bow down to an officer just because he is one.
We do have rights.
