It's been far too long since I posted an installment in this feature, but Jr. got me thinking, you know what would be perfect with those ribs?? (Other than my grandmother Charlotte's phenomenal coleslaw?)



Avocado / Citrus Salad

Tangy and Savory all in the same mouthful, drizzle on just a little balsamic and onion chopped on top. Man, I'm going home to make a feast for the weekend!

I think you might prefer joining Cab. I'm roughing it to the max. Heading down to outside Salamanca to some remote cleared land in the woods. I do however have a brand new 14 person tent. So I guess I'm not maxing out a la Rambo style.

Here's the thing folks, when we root for our favorite pro sports team(frequently being the home town team) or player we are selfish in our endeavor. Our home team is almost completely filled with people from other places or countries. We are simply rooting for the laundry. To try and interject morals into that formula is backward. Sure we would all love to have our favorite team be a champion on the field/ice and simultaneously be a role models off the field. But that's hypocritical. Look at the conversations we have here. Beer, hookers blow. I can't imagine a few million $$ dumped on us would change us that much. I am not in any way defending Kane or any of the others negative actions or saying it should be acceptable. But since I selfishly and irrationally am rooting for guys making millions in my favorite laundry, I'd rather just leave their personal stuff to them. I don't care who drank what or snorted what.

it sucks that its in the medias best interest to report the ever loving crud out of the dirty laundry. its too much to expect that every athlete will be a role model. its just the nature of the game- the more talented a player is, the more rope he gets regarding stupid extracurricular stuff.

this wasn't a wait a few days and tell the cops

this was followed up on as soon as she got away IMO
