My set up is low-maintenance. I have a nice little spot at the back end of my yard where several old growth maples and pines create a natural circle. I have my fire pit in the middle of them so have a nice little area of privacy. I have an old big screen with a great picture that I just pull back there with wagon, hook up a 100 ft. cable line for the picture then just sit back with a beer and watch the games by a fire while dinner slow cooks. After the games over, usually go with some tunes until I'm good and chitfaced. - sskkoo1
Nice. I got a big ole back yard. I thought about setting up my projector and or bringing a tv out but the 7 oclock start wont work with the projector. Plus I practically none of my friends are available to hang tonight so I opted to go to the game to meet some people. |

I was supposed to go to the game but my dog is still having issues, so I'm staying home with him instead. He seemed fine for the last like 36 hours but then this morning both of his ears were swelled up. Gave him the steroids and went to work so hopefully he's ok. Both me and the roomie worked the same time today, so we've both been gone all day. |

It all started late Monday. I noticed he was covered in huge bumps. Like the size of a dime. It was all down his back legs, up his belly and chest, and on his nose. It looked like an allergic reaction so I gave him some benadryl. I called the vet the next morning and took him in in the afternoon. In the meantime, he also threw up everything he ate on Tuesday. He was not himself on Wednesday morning, and the vet suggested giving him boiled chicken and white rice two tablespoons at a time. By Wednesday evening he was back to his normal self.
Unfortunately I wasn't home all day yesterday, but before I went to work he was fine and when I got home last night and went to bed. This morning when I woke up and let him out, I noticed he was trying to eat grass again. When I brought him in and gave him his breakfast he wasn't interested, but it was the first time he's had any of his normal food. It was mixed with the chicken and rice. He did finally eat it though. But at that time I noticed his ears were swollen. So I gave him the steroids they gave me at the vet the other day in case he had another reaction.
I called them back today and they said that if his still swollen when I get home to call them back again, but not to worry about him not wanting the food at first. They said it's normal for them to try and hold out for just the chicken and rice. I guess we'll see when I get home. |

This is terrible timing. I have to go out of town on Monday and Tuesday for work. The only thing I can think of is he's getting stung when he's outside unsupervised. I've noticed a lot of yellow jackets in the yard lately. |

Poor guy. Since my dogs surgery we cook full time for him now. We basically shred some chicken and mix in a huge pot of rice, carrots and peas. He's doing amazing and loves the food. My other dog gets some as well so eating time is like kids at the candy store.
If I were you I would check your yard thoroughly. Make sure there isn't something he's getting into. Possibly a poison or even a weed that started growing.

We had a crazy weed growing in the yard, so my roommate put some weed killer on it the other day. The only other thing we can think of is bees. And since they seem like yellow jackets, it's hard to figure out where the nest is because they're underground. |

One thing you may want to consider for future games is that a lot of people on craigslist are just giving away their old lamp projector television because they are upgrading to flat screens. If you can get a big screen for free and just keep it in the shed or garage like I do then it works out great for when you want to watch outdoor games and events. If and when it finally goes to chit, it's no big deal because you got it for free anyways. |

That stinks . Check that yard . The yellow jackets make hives in the ground too. I usually hit 1 or 2 with the mower each year at camp. Specially if the grass gets tall. |

That's my thought as well. Since Monday I haven't let him spend time outside without me for a bunch of reasons. But I was at work all day yesterday and then at a concert afterwards. Didn't get home until close to 1 am. My roommate probably let him play out there for a bit and my guess would be he got into something out there again. I'm just going to watch him really closely all weekend and hopefully he's fine before I have to go to NYC for work on Monday and Tuesday. |

Most autocorrection systems—including on the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and T9–also incorporate some kind of learning behavior. For instance, they'll pay attention to when you recorrect a corrected word, and learn never to offer that faulty choice again.
