Was at one not too long ago and they had a live hive on display. Was mesmerized for a few minute watching the bees do their thing. Was pretty interesting.

Find a local bee keeper, some don't feed them at all and many of the small local ones just feed them to get them through the winter.

pure honey won't dissolve in water at least not cold or cool
pour a little in a glass of water and wait for it to sink to make sure its pure
if any dissolves then it isn't legit
