Really? You really had to ask??

Absolutely! I mean, we could rehash the Raffl/Read/AMac/Holmgren debates, or go over everybody's top 10 bands list again if you prefer.

OK, how about a one hit wonder song you really like.

I was just watching Robocop, the new one, which was ok. But in one of the action sequences they bust out Hocus Pocus by Focus. You prog rock and Rush haters might not appreciate it, but it definitely has fond memories for me.

LOL @ all this 3 years nonsense concerning Morin. Morin will probably crack the lineup this season, if not I see him patrolling the blue line full time the following season. The NHL has been skewing towards a younger mans game over the past decade. Let's not get silly.

Nirvana and aic yes, pearl jam doesn't really have all the moaning whiney I hate myself songs like those two tho
- benjichronic

Nirvana was the best band of the 90s.

That's not saying much, but it's true. Pearl Jam put out 2 good albums, one album with 2 good songs, and then a bunch of radio-friendly hit albums.

No but listening to Vedder blather on about his political views could push someone to suicide.

It may be the only song that combines hard rock (old man heavy metal), yodeling, and some weird polka-esque stuff.

The Gary Hoey version kicks ass.

Yeah, but I miss the yodeling in versions like his and Iron Maiden's.

Witness was on a another level doing the Yes, the old Genesis, The Tull, and the Billy Joel. Just fantastic.

Could you elaborate?
- BulliesPhan87

Looking at it from the standpoint did the Kings and the NHL violate the CBA, by rushing to judgement and prematurely voiding the contract. If Richards was still a top player, would they have been in the same rush to terminate? I think there some ethics issues that need to be looked at.

I mean, don't we sort of already have the answer to that question? I think it's safe to say Voynov is an important player in a similar situation, and they've made no move to cancel his contract. Ethics are definitely an issue here.

I would agree, although Voynov is technically suspended for injuring himself in the off season, in a non hockey related activity. So I guess it remains to be seen what they do with Voynov when he comes off of suspension.

“Poor old Johnnie Ray
Sounded sad upon the radio
Moved a million hearts in mono
Our mothers cried, sang along
Who would blame them?”
