I feel the same way when you all start bringing up flyers from like the 70s and 80s... I'm like... Uhhh yeah in the old highlights I've seen of him he looked pretty good... Hahaha

When was the last time the Flyers had a forward they drafted play the better part of a season? I'm thinking it was Couturier in 2011. That was 4 years ago. I don't really remember what it was like to see a young player playing meaningful minutes on this team.

Definitely the best 3-piece band with a chick singer.

When was the last time the Flyers had a forward they drafted play the better part of a season? I'm thinking it was Couturier in 2011. That was 4 years ago. I don't really remember what it was like to see a young player playing meaningful minutes on this team.

I know he wasn't drafted per se, but I think signing Matt Read as an FA right out of college sort of counts.....in some ways it is even more impressive.

Well they have them. Raffl and PEB as well. But with Giroux and JvR, we got to see them all dominate at their junior levels and I was very excited to see them break in with the big club. We haven't had that in a while.
