Adidas will be the manufacturer of NHL jerseys after this season:

http://www.tsn.ca/adidas-...-nhl-jersey-deal-1.346839

I know they own Reebok, TaylorMade, and I believe they have a stake in CCM as well. I've always hated their stuff though. It would have been cool to see Under Armor get it, though I would have to imagine the purists would poop themselves if that happened.

Adidas is the Toyota of sports gear. Always high Quality and something for everyone.

Adidas is grossly overrated. They really should stick to soccer because it's the only thing they're good at. Their footwear is crap, and their clothing is nothing special.

I currently have Adidas for my running shoes. I liked my Nike's way better.

I don't think it could get worse. The NHL may be the worst of the big sports when it comes to jerseys.

I got a pair of Brooks that I used for marathon training and the marathon itself back in 2012. Only type of shoe I've used since.

Unless the ads reduce the ticket prices, I don't like it. At all. And I highly doubt that would be the case so...

That TSN article is right. I would have to assume that the company is going to insist on it.

The Adidas ones I have randomly rub on the back of my foot/ankle. Then I end up with a big sore back there. Not fun.

Likely be used to off-set the effects of the weakening Canadian dollar (on the cap that is).

My thing about ads on jerseys is that it can be done in a way that doesn't make you want to gouge your eyes out. Soccer does it pretty well. The European Hockey Leagues are a (frank)ing travesty. Engrave a gold Chevrolet "cross" logo on the shoulder patch of the blue Sabres jersey, for example, and I doubt many people notice, at least to the point that they won't buy a jersey. Put a white patch with a logo on it, that doesn't match the color scheme of the team jersey itself, and you have a problem.

One of my favorites we golfed there when Celino first bought it and he came out and watched us hit a few holes, the club house was not completed yet so i need to get back there and see how it turned out. But the fairways and greens were perfect there.
