For all the local guys on here who golf, go check out Timber Ridge in Brockport. It's only $20 and the layout and condition is absolutely fantastic. It's worth the drive.

Fairways are rough this year compared to the normal upkeep, not sure why. Not much shade on 80% of the holes and the sun has been brutal lately, but i still love it and i live a block away so i can walk there and stumble home.
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

ha ha that's perfect for you.

The real issue they have there is drainage. If it rains heavily like it did last Friday night, it takes a while for the course to dry up.

Do it the next time. Another course I like is Webster East out in Rochester. Since I have the pass for Terry Hills they have a reciprocal deal there and it only costs $20 to play. I also want to check out Charlerston Pines and Island Oaks in Lima.

I was there after a rain early in the year and the one sand trap was about 4ft deep of water i could not believe it, you would think with the money they charge and bring in there they would be able to have better drainage? The course is still gorgeous, so i cant complain to much haha

Try Durand Eastman Park in Rochester. Public course, so it gets pretty beat up, but it is a stunning track - by Robert Trent Jones, no less - that gets overlooked by way too many people.

Shadow Pines is right next to Shadow Lake. Both are really respectable courses, but both are home to a huge number of charity tourneys and league play, and they get really chewed up by this time of year. I like the Lake better than the Pines.

Really...I'm in the market for a new set of irons soon. I would need mine fitted though. I'm 6'4 and needed my clubs extended about an inch/inch and a half.

Adidas will be the manufacturer of NHL jerseys after this season:

http://www.tsn.ca/adidas-...-nhl-jersey-deal-1.346839

I know they own Reebok, TaylorMade, and I believe they have a stake in CCM as well. I've always hated their stuff though. It would have been cool to see Under Armor get it, though I would have to imagine the purists would poop themselves if that happened.

- buffalofan19

Adidas owns CCM as well. That's part of the reason that Reebok is no longer a hockey company and they had CCM absorb the Reebok product.

Nothing about the jerseys will change just the name Adidas instead of Reebok.

TaylorMade is grossly overrated. They really should stick to drivers because their irons are crap and their apparel is half-assed.

have any of your guys ever played ironwood golf course? i played it once it is nothing special.. it is a newer course but the only reason i ask is because i grew up about 3 min from there
- IndianaSabresFan

It's pretty open. It has a few challenging holes #14 is a par 5 that drives me up a wall.

Its a course you want to play to feel good about yourself and post a low score! They maintain it pretty good though.

That may be correct. I need to do my own research on that though.

A source told TSN that the deal would surely mean big changes to uniform designs, perhaps with Adidas’s familiar three-stripe trademark being added to some or all team jerseys.

Doubtful. My CCM rep who was also my Rebook rep (makes sense) says Adidas dumped the Rebook brand because 1 soccer cleat outsells the entire Rebook hockey line. They have no interest in making major changes to the hockey world because it is profitable to them. Instead of Rebook on the back collar expect the 3 stripe logo and that's about it.

One of my favorites we golfed there when Celino first bought it and he came out and watched us hit a few holes, the club house was not completed yet so i need to get back there and see how it turned out. But the fairways and greens were perfect there.
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

Those greens were slick as hell. Fast.
