Unless they get Calgary in the first round...

It'd be awesome if we played each other again. Best aspect of NHL hockey is rivalries.

Meh, it won't matter. The Oilers are going to be soooo good this year they will beat both of us out for a playoff spot...

Well don't hold your breath ....when sekeras and Shultz are you best two D men and it will take more than God himself to get you in to the playoffs in the west ....and don't forget we are supposed to regress and fall back to reality

I think this is Canucks year. I am mapping the parade on Google Earth.

One of the biggest obstacles is all these damn bike lanes and road closures with construction

I think it will be a boring transition year. We need to go through with it and we need to say goodbye to some aging core. We can't hang on to sentiments

He was very underutilized here. No lie there.

He's the perfect fourth liner.

Those were some great years... I always remember how bad the Canucks were, but you could always flip on ITV and watch some great hockey.

I'd rather play against our southern rivals. Who really cares about Calgary...

I don't think those Southern Teams really see the Canucks as a rival. Perhaps as an old nemesis they enjoy pi$$ing on. Much the same way that Chicago does.

The Sharks and the Kings both like beating the Canucks. I thought we had some good games against them. Doughty will talk Canuck trash, you see his demeanor change when he talks about the team. I always remember Thornton sticking his finger in Henrik's face, pointing at something, fecking around. Marleau and Bieksa going at it.

And now with Kesler and Bieksa in Anaheim, maybe Santo to a lot lesser extent, there will be more feeling when playing the Ducks. Can't be too far off a rivalry, there is at least some emotion in all these California games.

I think the Cali teams still get up for us, LA and San Jose, anyways, but I'm not sure that Chicago's even aware we exist anymore.

Well Canuck fans might be focused on it; however, my point is that I don't think those teams have given the Canucks much thought in the last few years.

Hell... The Canucks are not even the same team. How many returning players?

You gotta' admit to a certain degree... The finger incident with Joe was funny. Disrespectful? Sure. Harmless? Absolutely. Players do far worse. His locker room quote when he stuck up for Hertl was priceless.

That tends to happen when you have tree stanleys cups in your hears.

I was in the building a few times in SJ last year... I don't think it's the same as it was.
