Yeah and 40+ yards rushing, multiple 3rd down conversions and a 9 minute + drive to start the game, albeit with a missed fg . so.........the point is? Plus be did this with rbs signed off the street this week and the 5th 6th and 7th wrs on the depth chart
It's going to be the same we've seen the past two years...nowhere near good enough to get this team to the postseason. - buffalofan19
am of the opinion that the bills aren't planning on hall of fame play from any of their quarterbacks...
They had nine wins last season with a disinterested quarterback, a lunkhead for a head coach and with a offensive coordinator who was in way over his head...
there's no reason to believe they won't have the same or better defense than they had last year, they'll have a more explosive running game, a tight end that's more of a pass-catching threat and a stronger group of receivers this year than last...
injuries, imo, may up be the only thing that could cause them to regress this season

wadr, Cleveland's not a very good team...they have a good defense, but were missing their best corner in joe haden plus one of their starting safeties...their other corner is Justin gilbert and the only reason he hasn't been cut yet is because he was a top-ten pick in the draft...Cleveland traded up one spot for gilbert using the pick the bills gave them in the Sammy Watkins trade

Ah, so he had 100 yards and possibly 6 points in a half. Color me just as unimpressed
As I've said before, Kasdorf is the best positionally out of any of our goaltender prospects. He's the best we have unless a guy like Petersen fixes the way he plays the game
I disagree 100%. If you don't see a difference between the Doug Moran team and this one, I can't help you. - turbo044
Agreed. We weren't very far away from making it last season. Terrible play calling/coaching + the game EJ gave away to the Texans is why we missed the playoffs.

Actually we had a missed FG and a dropped TD on two of Taylor's possessions. Only bad play he made was when he got sacked on 3rd and lost about 10 yards.

(frank)ing vampires, man.
I'm really dreading October, when these (frank)ing vampires will probably ignore all the exciting things the Sabres have done in the last year, and instead focused on areas they haven't been able to fix yet, so that they can suck the joy out of my excitement for my favorite team.
The stakes I put in hearts will chase off those malignant spirits, or have me banned for weeks on end.

This x's100.
Both teams are doing incredibly exciting things, making positive strides and acquiring higher end talent.
There will always be areas of need/concern, but why does the glass ALWAYS need to be half empty with some people?

Accuse us of ignoring the exciting things but we should just ignore the fact that the team is still bad (at least for now)?
Im sure all of us are excited to see how Eichel looks and how Kane and O'Reilly fit in. After 2 1/2 years of tanking im glad to see them ice a watchable product. But my standards for this team haven't changed because of that, they made major improvements but im not about to get amped up over a team that went from a D to a C.
There's still work to be done and that will be noticeable throughout the year, doesn't mean i'll ignore all the good things about this team (same as i did this year with guys like risto and girgs).
Also Vampires? Really? Even Bram Stoker would be scratching his head.
