A 25 year old who's top 3 at his position isn't worth keeping? I disagree. I think he should be kept over 95% of the roster.
I think only Watkins and maybe Gilmore would be priorities over him - sbroads24

"PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Two days after expressing displeasure about the Buffalo Bills' latest contract offer, Pro Bowl defensive tackle Marcell Dareus clarified his comments Saturday, explaining that he wasn't specifically looking for a deal as rich as Ndamukong Suh's $114 million contract with the Miami Dolphins.
"I'm not necessarily looking at Suh numbers," Dareus told reporters after practice Saturday. "I just want to be treated right, just like every one of us."
Dareus told The Buffalo News after the Bills' preseason win Thursday night in Cleveland that the team was "making it hard" in negotiations and that he felt like the Bills "don't really want me here."
Asked by the newspaper whether he had a specific number in mind for his new deal, Dareus responded, "I'll just say, 'Thank you, Suh.'"
Dareus, who enters the final year of his rookie contract, reportedly was offered a six-year extension worth more than $90 million, according to The News. That deal would average about $15 million per season, less than the $19 million annual average of Suh's contract."
so he is not looking for Suh money, but is insulted when the bills offer him 80% of what Suh makes - homiedclown
I don't like his approach but he really is a playmaker. He blows up offenses. Coordinators have to game plan for him.
He's more valuable than Mario or Kyle. That said, he's got his share of baggage. I'd say the offer they made is fair. Phucking agents... |

If he has a down year, 90 mil is far fetched. If he has another pro bowl year, he gets Suh money easily |

Agree.
IMO he's playing the role of 2nd most valuable position on the team (behind a quality QB which is a different topic for a different time).
I'd be inclined to pay him but then there may not be enough meat left on the bone for anyone else. |

You overvalue a lot of players, not that he isn't a good player but 80 mill and he thinks it's a bad offer. |

Eh, I think he is the more valuable then Kyle and Mario, although they all feed off each other. Kyle did a masterful job of moulding him, that said if I had to pick one of the three, he would be the guy.
They need Mario to restructure his contract to fit Darius in and have money left to deal with Gilmore's contract in the future. |

Agreed. Dareus at this point is the MVP of that line.
Him and Mario are HOF caliber players. |

While the amount is high, it's what he's worth at this point. He is a dominant player. With Kyle and Mario pushing 30+ they need to lock him up so long term they have Dareus and Hughes |

We have no QB, you pay this guy all this money and you wrap up to much money in 1 player, him going public and claiming it;'s in insult is bad business on his part. |

2016 QB Freeagent list is rather poor with only Eli and Bradford of any note.
Bills are F'd unless a trade occurs, including moving up to grab a top draft pick.we better hope Castle or Tyrod play better than I think they are capable of long term. |

Eli wants to be the NFL's top paid player.
- Pairo11
2 Super Bowls will do that...he will only be the top paid player until the next contract is up. It happens in football and baseball all the time. You're only the top paid player until the next player is up for a contract. |

He's good but not in that top tier. His agent is reaching but he's got leverage. Either pay him what he wants or he walks and you're in the same boat as 20+ other teams - wondering how to find their franchise QB.
He'd look good throwing to Sammie.

Not every QB is Manning or Brady though. They usually don't all play at a high level at 35-36 years old. I'd be worried signing him or someone that age |

You visit this place and you would swear you are talking to higher ups in both the Bills and Sabres organization.
But alas, you come here and you are really talking to no one!
